About Lauren
A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Ms. Wilmore received a Bachelor of Science majoring in French, International Business and Marketing. In addition to her education, Ms. Wilmore has years of experience in ballroom dance. While at Washington University she was the President and Treasurer of the Washington University Ballroom Dance Club, founder and choreographer of wuSAUCE (Wash U's PREMIER salsa team) and worked as a choreographer and instructor for organizations such as Stardance, Incorporated and St. Louis Wedding Dance Company. She continues to work as instructor at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) and, Flavor Dance & Fitness Studio. She is the co-founder and artistic director of St. Louis' Grupo Azucar. She is also the co-founder and director of St. Louis Dancing Classrooms, a non-profit organization that teaches teamwork, dignity, and respect through ballroom dance. |
About Jeannie
Jeannie Kennedy is a St. Louis native. She completed her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education-Spanish at Southeast Missouri State University and recently her master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Ms. Kennedy currently teaches Spanish in Illinois. She got her start dancing salsa in a club in San Jose, Costa Rica during a college study-abroad program. She has taught salsa for the YMCA in Illinois and Rena's Dance Unlimited. She also is active in choreography for her Spanish students. Ms. Kennedy has the best salsa shines you will ever see. She currently is an instructor at Flavor Dance & Fitness Studio. |

About Allison |
About Eliana
Eliana was born and raised in Brazil, and has been living in the United States for the past nine years.Dance has been a passion in her life since she was a child. Throughout her life she took classes such as modern jazz, ballroom (Brazilian style), and Latin dances.
Here, in Saint Louis she started dancing professionally. She has been performing with local Brazilian Band Samba Bom, and Chicago Samba and Samba Group 1 in Chicago. She also does solo performances for public events, private parties, etc.
Eliana has also worked for Springboard to Learning, where she taught children some Brazilian dance and culture. The children performed at the International Dance Festival that Springboard has every year. |

About Andrea
Andrea has been dancing since the age of three. Her early dance experience comes from ballet, modern, tap and jazz. Andrea later received her BA in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
After graduating from UNCG, she taught ballroom dance for ten years at an independent studio in Fayetteville, NC. Andrea moved to St Louis in 2005 to pursue a master's degree, and has been teaching for Washington University School of Medicine's Ballroom club since that time. She teaches all styles of partner dancing. |
